Jaroslaw Bratkieiwcz is the acting Political director in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. |
He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Affairs (MGIMO) in the field of International Relations. In 1986 he attained the rank of doctor of political sciences and in 1994 he got a PHD in Political Studies (the faculty of Jurnalism and Political Sciences of the University of Warsaw).
From 1982 he holds tight relations with the Polish Academy of Sciences. In April of 1991 he got a job in the newly founded Office of National Security, than ran by Lech Kaczynski. In the August 1992 he began a career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he took the seat of the Vice-Director od the Planning and Analysis Department. He held this position for 2003 with intermediary in the years 1996-2001, during which he acted as the Polish Ambassador to Latvia, he became the department director in 2005-2006.
