Longtime activist of self-government. In all the years of his professional career he was associated with the development of education, culture and sport for the benefit of Kolobrzeg.
In the years 1990 - 2006 term of office of four councilor in the City of Kolobrzeg, where he served as: Chairman of the Audit Committee, the Board of Education, Culture, Sports, and Social Welfare.
In 1998, he was Vice-Chairman of the City Council in 2004 Chairman of the City Council.
West Pomeranian member of the Monitoring Committee for the Regional Operational Programme of the Zachodniopomorskie, Board Member of the Association of Municipalities of Health Resort, Delegate of the City of Kolobrzeg in the Association of Municipalities Polish Euroregion "Pomerania", Member of the Board of the Convention Meres Mayors and Presidents Delegate nucleus of Polish Cities.
