Artur Siódmiak is an outstanding Polish athlete and founder of the Academy of Handball. |
A fame of polish handball. The Polish national team played up more than 100 meetings. Silver and bronze medalist of the World Championships of 2007 and 2009. During his career he also won the Polish Championship (2000-2001) and the Swiss Cup and Super Cup in 2007.
He went down in history thanks to the plan, which paved the Polish team through to the semi-finals of the World Championships in Croatia in 2009. When a great pass from the Norwegians advantage playing in his own half and went into the empty net enemies for a few seconds before the end of the game, setting results at 31:30 for the Polish team. Named in honor of the projection "King Arthur".
On 5 February 2007 he was awarded by President Lech Kaczynski Gold Cross of Merit.
After the end of competition time he founded the Academy of Handball his name, Arthur Siódmiak Camp.
