Andrzej Bojanowski is the vice-president of Gdańsk on Economic Policy and the President of the board of the Cities and Municipalities Union. . |
He graduated from the deparment of Management of the University of Gdansk, the faculty of banking and finance with a graduation paper on “The Role of Commercial Banks in the Financing of investment projects”.
For 7 years he worked in banking this includes a 5 ear term in the Pekao SA Bank, where he held the position of the director of the corporate client division of individual banking.
From August od 2003 he held the function of the vice-president of the management board of the Port Authority Of Gdansk SA, and from January of 2006 to December of 2008 he held the position of the City of Gdansk Treasurer.
Currently he is the junior vice-president of the city of Gdansk on Economic Policy and is responsible for –amongst others- the investment processes in the city – the financial engendering of the Grand-Annual Investment Plan, including the balanced development of the city of Gdansk and UE funds acquisition. He also holds the managerial supervision of meteoric issues held by the multi-purpose Hall of Sports and Events Gdansk – Sopot LTD.
The interests of Andrew Bojanowski are mainly leasing and factoring, but also turism, fishing and sports.
For 15 years he had a succesfull career in handball – winning a bronze medal of the Polish juniors championship and advancing to the senior extra-class.
